Small Groups

Why Connection?
Society is in a famine for connectedness and authentic, meaningful friendships. Mere weekend worship is simply not enough. Trinity Chapel’s LifeLink Groups provide an environment which spurs spiritual maturity while offering opportunity to build meaningful relationships with others and with God. The goal is to facilitate the assimilation of people desiring to be more involved in ministry.

The Vision
LifeLink encompasses the most basic concept of Pastoral Care at our church. Groups meet monthly and are hosted by ministry volunteers serving as group leaders. Each group provides a safe environment by which authentic relationships are built, discipleship occurs, and Christ- followers are created. It is as Jesus said, “I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19).

What happens at a group gathering?
Members meet regularly to socialize and fellowship with one another, as well as to participate in a short discipleship lesson led by their small group leader. Members are also given the opportunity to share their prayer requests and to pray for one another.

How often do groups meet and how long are the meetings?
Groups meet monthly and each meeting lasts approximately one and a half to two hours.

The result of effective LifeLink Groups are:

·    The Kingdom of God is expanded on earth.

·    We live the destiny that God has preordained for our lives.

·    Our personal need for relationships is filled.
